Okay, so we FINALLY got the visit from Corporate HR to tell us what our severance would be.

Frankly, mine is nice, especially if I can manage to get a job that starts right after our closing date and collect it as a lump sum.

The problem is, they don’t know what date that is.

Seriously, I’m starting to think this is intentional. You REALLY can’t pick a date? I REALLY have to wait two more weeks?

Yeah, I get you want me to panic, take a job and forfeit my severance, but oh, hell no. I’ll wait. I just won’t be happy about it.

And no, I don’t believe for a second you don’t already have a date picked out.
