Well, the economy has claimed another victim. They’re closing our plant in about 60 days, and I’ll be out of a job. I won’t know until next week what the severance package is (I guess I should be happy I’m even getting one) so I’m kind of in limbo right now, which those of you who know me know is probably the worst part of the whole thing. Once I know what the deal is I can make plans, but right now I have no idea what’s going on and that drives me absolutely crazy.

I’m really quite sad about this. I loved my job, I’ve been there fifteen years, and I really, really like my coworkers.

I feel like I just lost my family in a bus accident.
